Enjoyed my stay in this centrally located double room with a lovely balcony overlooking the street. Despite some noise during the day, the modern amenities and clean atmosphere made it worthwhile. Pro tip, Secure physical access to the building for late returns. Handy air conditioning was a lifesaver!

Finding the Hostal Mh Fuencarral can be a bit tricky. The sign is not very prominent, so I wandered around for a bit even after getting the street number right. Once I settled in, I appreciated the location. It's super close to metro Gran Via, making it easy to explore. I enjoyed the newly renovated feel of the room. The furnishings were modern, and the room had plenty of natural light. The air conditioning worked perfectly during my stay. However, issues arose with the bathroom. Showering was problematic as the drainage wasn’t adequate. standing in water during my shower wasn’t ideal. I also noticed some unpleasant odors in the bathroom, which was disappointing. I encountered a lack of assistance when I needed a hairdryer, which, for a reasonably priced stay, felt a bit inconvenient. The staff were friendly but sometimes unavailable. I had to wait to get help. Despite these inconveniences, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. I'd say it's decent for the price but some improvements in service and bathroom facilities would really enhance the overall experience.
